This document constitutes a legal agreement (the "Agreement") between you ("User," "You," "Student," or "Instructor") and Ostitto ("Platform," "We," "Us," or "Our") concerning your use of our services, courses, and products. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1 General Terms and Modifications
1.1 Agreement: By using this Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.2 Modifications: We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
1.3 Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Users under 18 must use the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2 Services and Content
2.1 Courses and Access: The Platform provides various online courses, tutorials, and educational materials ("Content"). You will be granted access to purchased or subscribed courses according to the stipulated terms and timeframes.
2.2 Content Ownership: All Content (videos, text, graphics, etc.) available on the Platform is the property of the Platform or its content providers and is protected by copyright laws.
2.3 Prohibited Use (All Users): You are strictly prohibited from downloading, copying, duplicating, reselling, or distributing the Content publicly. Unauthorized use of the Content is strictly forbidden.
3 User Account and Security
3.1 Account Creation: You may be required to create an account to use the Platform and must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
3.2 Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
4 Payments, Pricing, and Refunds
4.1 Pricing: The prices for all courses and services will be displayed on the Platform.
4.2 Refund Policy: The policy regarding refunds is specifically outlined at the Refund Policy page. You agree to read this before purchase.
Generally: No refunds will be granted after accessing the course for a specific time or viewing a certain number of classes/videos.
5 User Conduct and Communication
5.1 Lawful Use: You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of Bangladesh.
5.2 Prohibited Behavior: You shall not engage in any activity that disrupts the experience of other users or damages the Platform infrastructure.
6 Adherence to Organizational Policies
6.1 Policy Compliance: All Instructors are obligated to operate under the internal rules, guidelines, and administrative decisions of the Platform.
7 Employment Commitment and Probation Period
7.1 Commitment (Non-Compete): During association, instructors shall not engage with competing EdTech platforms in any capacity (teaching, content, or advisory).
7.2 Probation and Remuneration: The first two (2) months are considered a Probation Period. Full salary terms apply upon successful completion and No salary shall be payable in cases where assigned responsibilities are not fully performed.
8 Content Ownership and Rights
8.1 Content IP Rights: Full Intellectual Property Rights and ownership of course content belong to Ostitto.
8.2 Usage and Control: The Platform reserves the right to use, modify, or license this content at any time.
9 Consequences of Violation and Legal Action
9.1 Disciplinary Action: Violation of rules or law gives the Platform Authority the right to take disciplinary action.
9.2 Legal Recourse: Actions may include termination of contract and legal means to recover financial losses incurred due to rule violations.
9.3 Routine Adherence: If an instructor fails to follow assigned responsibilities and students face difficulties as a result, the Authority reserves the right to terminate the instructor at any time without prior notice.
10 Limitation of Liability and Governing Law
10.1 Liability: The Platform is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of educational content.
10.2 Governing Law: Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Jurisdiction lies with the courts in Dhaka.
